If we had a chance to personally meet what would I want you to remember about me? What impact would I want to have on you?
Most of all, I’d want you to feel important—no, loved. Not a mushy sort of love but the kind you experience when you are part of a warm, caring family. Because you are. Like me, you’re part of Father’s family, birthed by the God who loves you beyond your wildest imagination! Your firm grasp of God’s reality, that he is the truest of Fathers and has created you with a unique purpose that can be expressed by no one else, is the impact I seek. And because I am convinced of calling’s role in this transformative reality, Into the Fullness has come into being. It is my privilege to play a role in helping you discover your calling.
Perhaps, like me, you’ve become a lover of Jesus, the Elder Brother who rescued us from the ravages of a relentless enemy who seeks to keep you orphaned from the truth of who you are, where you came from, what you are doing here and where you are going. We owe the Lord everything and I am endlessly amazed at the power of his redemptive love!
I also owe a a deep debt of gratitude to a number of Christ’s followers for the wisdom they have shared. Those who have had the greatest influence on my understanding of calling include George MacDonald, C.S. Lewis, Michael Phillips, Gary Barkalow, Os Guiness, Dallas Willard, Richard Foster, John Eldridge, and Gordon Smith.
In meeting me through your visit here, and whatever interactions may come from it, my most treasured hope is that you sense God reaching out to bring you to that place where we all belong: home to his great heart of endless love!
Michael
